Halong Bay in Vietnam has been included in the list of 15 most magnificent natural wonders in the world by BBC (UK).
Describing Halong Bay, the news agency wrote: These locations shaped over millions of years give people the trail to learn about the past and future of the Earth. Marvelous scenery of Halong Bay is dotted with pillars, arches and limestone caves. These rocks are formed from rising and lowering sea levels, during the last 500 million years. The bay includes 1,600 islands, most of which are uninhabited. According to legend, the dragon has created thousands of islands to protect Vietnam from invasion.
